Ricky Bianchi

Obituary of Ricky Bianchi

Please share a memory of Ricky to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

In loving memory of our dear Ricky (Rick) Bianchi, a beloved husband, father and grandfather and lifelong resident of Lodi, whose spirit departed peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Ricky's journey began on August 31, 1956, right here in our cherished community. From his early days at Reese Elementary to his memorable years at Lodi High School, Ricky's laughter and warmth left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Continuing his quest for knowledge, he furthered his education at Delta College, where he honed his skills for a career that would serve both his passion and his surrounding community as a Pest and Chemical Advisor for Mid Valley Agriculture until the day of his passing.

To know Ricky was to be embraced by fierce loyalty. As a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, his heart overflowed with affection for his family. Nothing brought him greater joy than sharing moments at home with his beloved wife Wilma, his partner since the tender age of 19. His days were illuminated by the laughter and playfulness of his grandchildren, who brought so much joy into his life. Ricky's love for music and his talent for barbecuing filled his home with melody and aroma, creating cherished memories for all who gathered.

Ricky had many interests and especially loved dove and duck hunting and did so regularly the majority of his life. He started hunting as a young boy and gave it up a few years ago. During his hunting years he made many lifelong friends and cherished all their friendships. His green thumb, his interest in decoys and antiques, and his infectious laughter were emblematic of his zest for life's simple pleasures. Ricky's legacy of love, laughter and joy in simplicity will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

While we mourn the loss of Ricky, we find solace in the enduring love he shared with us all. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Alexander Bianchi, and survived by his devoted wife Wilhelmina (Wilma) Bianchi, their beloved children Nicholas (Nick) Bianchi and his wife Jessica, Christine Alberg and her husband Michael, and the grandchildren who were the light of his life: Lillian, Ofelia, Colton, Luciana, and Valentino.

A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate Ricky's life will take place on Saturday, May 11th, at 11:00 am at Saint Peter's Church, 2400 Oxford Way, in Lodi. Let us gather together to honor his memory, sharing stories and laughter as we celebrate the beautiful life of our dear Ricky.
